Ecommerce Europe’s letter on securing progress on the OECD Two-Pillar Agreement

On 5 March, Ecommerce Europe has shared a letter with Director Manal Corwin from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to support the progress on the negotiations on the Two-Pillar Agreement on international taxation, and call for a swift adoption of the package. In particular:

  • Facilitate dialogue among stakeholders
  • Reaffirm commitment to Pillar Two
  • Finalise the work on Pillar One and extend the moratorium on Digital Services Taxes

The letter stresses that legal certainty for businesses, collaboration among stakeholders and a fair international tax environment are essential for fostering trade and a more stable and equitable global tax system.
