On Thursday 15 May 2014, BeCommerce – Ecommerce Europe’s Belgian member association – organizes the 9th edition of the BeCommerce Awards. The venue is set at the Colonial Palace in Tervuren. The aim of the BeCommerce Awards is to contribute to the development and awareness of the e-commerce sector.
There are five prizes awarded by an expert jury: the “Starter Award” for starting e-shops, a category on the best mobile web shop, the green award, the “Cross Border Award” and the “BeCommerce overall Award 2014.” The winner of the “BeCommerce Overall Award 2014” will represent Belgium during the European e-Commerce Awards on the 16th of June 2014, as a part of the Global E-Commerce Summit.
Next to an expert jury, there are also awards granted by the public: These are based on company scores in customer reviews. Three new categories in the BeCommerce Awards are awards for “financial services & insurance”, “telecoms” and “nutrition.”
